1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RelocateFacts at www.relocatefacts.com (the "Site"), operated by Tyris Walker ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. Description of the service

RelocateFacts publishes city relocation and cost-of-living data compiled from public U.S. government sources, including the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey (ACS) 5-Year estimates and FEMA's National Risk Index. The Site provides city profiles, comparisons, rankings, and data studies for informational purposes only.

This product uses the Census Bureau Data API but is not endorsed or certified by the Census Bureau.

3. Not professional advice

All content on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, legal, real estate, insurance, tax, or relocation advice. Figures are estimates drawn from multi-year survey data and may not reflect current market conditions. You should independently verify any figure before making a financial or relocation decision, and consult a qualified professional where appropriate.

4. Data accuracy and no warranty

We aggregate and present public-domain government data as accurately as we reasonably can, and each city page and study states its data source and last-updated date. However, the Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not affiliated with the U.S. Census Bureau, FEMA, or any government agency.

5. Intellectual property and reuse

RelocateFacts' original compilations, rankings, analysis, and presentation may be reused with attribution to RelocateFacts and a link to the original source page, unless a specific page states otherwise.

6. Third-party and affiliate links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including government data sources and, where applicable, affiliate or sponsored partners, labeled per our Advertiser Disclosure. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site. Following an external link is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms.

7. Prohibited use

You agree not to: use the Site for any unlawful purpose; attempt to disrupt, scrape at abusive volume, or interfere with the Site's normal operation; misrepresent your affiliation with the Site; or use automated means to extract data in a manner inconsistent with Section 5.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RelocateFacts and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its data, including decisions made in reliance on Site content.

9. Changes to the Site and these Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; the effective date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the District of Columbia.
